If the parents are good, then they generally do a good job of keeping the eggs well oxygenated, which stops them from dying and becoming mouldy. If I can provide enough small foods in the beginning for the fry (baby fish), then most will grow quickly and survive. The biggest threat comes from the other fish in the aquarium that will see the little fish as a nice snack! I reckon most of the eggs will hatch.
